Hi,

I tried installing it on my localhost, I did everything that was given in the install.xml file manually and but I couldn't get it to work.
The logos for eg. the Google logo appears as a button instead of a link.

Also when I click login, the screen looks like in the above picture.

Is there any mistake in the way I installed?

Thank you in advance

Hello Kash.

What version of phpBB are you using?
Are you using PHP 5?
Did you reset the theme for the templates in the ACP?
Do you have a URL that I can view the forum from?

By the picture you posted it looks like the CSS isn't working right, are you sure you did the modifications for the .css files?

Hi,

First of all, awesome MOD! Really useful if you have big people visiting your site.
(who can't remember the password for every forum they are a member of)

I have php5. but the resetting part was not done right, I took care of that now.
The errors I mentioned before have disappeared.

Its in my localhost, so it is not a public forum yet.
Now I get the error 'ERROR: Invalid URL submitted.'
Will the above error disappear if I make it public?

I seem to remember a problem with using localhost and OpenID. You have to change some stuff to make it work right but I do not remember what those where. Pretty much you need a URL or IP address that the outside world (the openid provider) can use to contact your web server (localhost).

Hi,

I have made the forum public here http://cfi.iitm.ac.in/phpBB3/index.php
When I try to login, I get the error "ERROR: Invalid URL submitted."
The table by the name phpbb_openid_urls appears to be empty. Is it supposed to be that way?
What should I do?

The table phpbb_openid_urls is not populated until someone successfully logs in with an OpenID URL.

It looks like the MOD is not fully installed on your board, did you follow the DIY options? Being able to use the UCP to enter an OpenID might help with trouble shooting.

Hi,

I tried most of the DIY, however I am not able to do the following part. as the module doesn't appear in the menu.
For ACP however, I could find it.

** User Control Panel (under Module Management)
** Profile
** select "OpenID URL Manager" in the drop down menu and press Add module.
** Select "Yes" to add the module, then click the link to go back.
** Click "Enable" next to OpenID URL Manager.

I'll get some screen shots and see if that helps.

I hope this helps, any questions?

If this does not show up then make sure performed all of the file edits, specifically the ones for these files
